I'm intrigued by the description of The Orphan's Tale. I love historical fiction and the WWII era and it sounds right up my alley. What did you think?

This month I read…
Royal by Danielle Steel- I’ve never read a Danielle Steel novel before, and I have to say after reading this I’m not sure I’d want to read one again. I was drawn in by the premise of a lost princess and figured it would center around that and her adjusting to her new life and discovering her story. That is not what I got. It felt like the story was told in 3 disjointed parts, one for each of the three women involved. Also, each of the three lead women didn’t feel like fully formed characters; nor did any of the other characters for that matter. It just seemed like there was a lot lacking from the writing and storytelling, but it wasn't terrible. If you enjoy Danielle Steel, you’d probably like it though.
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han- I listened to this on audiobook. This is a cute little series when put together as a whole. I wasn’t crazy about the second installment, but enjoyed this one more. A cute ending to a cute and cheesy YA romance series.
