Welcome Sarah, I'm a huge King fan myself; you got a favourite? Mine's is The Stand, pure excellence that book.
The Stand ... I read that as we were just moving into COVID - just about a year ago. Serendipity at its best.
I read Justin Cronin's The Twelve, about a vampire apocalypse sweeping across America, just as Covid hit. Not quite the same as The Stand, but uncomfortably close just the same.
The Passage and Thd Twelve by Justin Cronin were absolutely brilliant but that last book The City of Mirrors fell short for me.

I was afraid of that; I got City of Mirrors for Christmas, haven't read it yet, but there was a sense of finality at the end of The Twelve that gave the feeling that just about everything had been said in the first two books. Often a problem with trilogies.

But Mr S.King will always be the no 1 in this genre forever.
