Review:
This book for how short it was, was amazingly good!! Amelia and Maverick are the main couple in this books. Amelia has just got out of a 3 year relationship because the guy cheated on her. Maverick is the best football player on his team in college but is broke, and has family problems regarding his sister. Amelia and Maverick both have history from when they kissed each other at a party freshman year of college. But don't actually see each other again until junior year. And yes, it is right after she has gotten cheated on by a football player lol. Maverick is trying to get with her and earn her trust while she's trying to push him away because she swore off football players. This book is really interesting and a good book if you just want something quick and easy.

April I’m not sure if we should be selecting one of the lists that come up. I think we just have to read one of the books that comes up in the romance page or when you select a sub genre at the right.

Review:
From the "Explore" shelf, I learned that Penny Reid has a new series focused on Cletus, which is cool since I think he is my favorite brother. This particular book was kind of a prequel, detailing events that were referred to in the first five books in the series. It was actually the first time I liked Scarlet/Claire The last part of the book was difficult because it basically doesn't end - it's a big to-be continued.

Nina Sutherland (nsuds27) | 35 comments Hi all, I just wanted to give you my reasoning for withdrawing. We've had two baby horses born and the first one which is the one I bought spent two weeks at MSU Vet clinic in and out of ICU care. The second baby needed plasma since the mother leaked majority of her colostrum out a week before she went into labor. Now that mother is running a fever. All 3 are on medications and need to be monitored several times a day. With working full time and managing the barn I just haven't had time to keep up with reading. I look forward to my life getting back to normal in the next few weeks.

Talk to you all soon. I'm going to post some pictures to my profile so you all can see how beautiful these babies are. <3

Review: This was book 1 in a series, but it did feel like there was a lot of backstory I was missing (I believe she was a character in a previous series). I can see some potential in this new series though - although I don't know I'll continue. Basically, the Ink Witch can read tarot cards and predict the future, and that is how she is making a living at the start of the book. But when her half brother and others are missing, she is drawn back to her previous life as an assassin.

This was my second male on male book since "They both die at the end" And omg this was was amazing!! Henry an Alex are heart throbs. The entire concept of Alex being the first son of the president of the USA. And Henry being the prince of England.

This book raised my standards so high I don't even know if in the future someone will be able to have me.

They are both so in love with each other its so damn painful. I mean them writing each other emails that represent love letters. Them trying to see each other as much as they can. Them having to keep it lowkey so they wont get caught. The angst the snarky comments. The love and hate situation they had going on it was all just so perfect!!!

This book was a book that get me up to late than usual. Honestly though I almost missed a class because I woke up late, any who. I loved this story!! Lou a little girl who just got diagnosed with blood cancer at the age of 7. Zeus a guy who saved her after a she was caught up in a gun shoot out.

Through the years they send each other letters because he got sent to jail. They both stopped sending letters when she turns 16 but see each other again after all these years with circumstance that lead them both worried about one another.

This story made me cry at 5am knowing I had school in an 2 hours. But it also was a good book that make me happy and intrigued.

Review: I read this during a long day of travelling, which was certainly appropriate. Amelia and her husband are asked to find an Englishman and his wife, who have been missing for ten years in Sudan, which in the midst of a lot of battle. They travel to Egypt, and search (and all of their camels die - hence the title). I liked this - I always feel like I learn at least a little from the books in this series, and I really like the relationship between Emerson and Amelia - she is super independent, and that is exactly why he loves her. Their incredibly intelligent son Ramses is a favorite of mine as well.
