Loved how it jumped straight into her being caught, very immediately being thrown into the plot with a tiny bit of set-up made me invest in Darcy.

I agree, it started with a bang! I also enjoy the concept. It seems just realistic enough that it makes sense as a contemporary book while still being interesting!

That's no problem :)
Completely agree there, definitely a plausible situation and Darcy's response to how/why she started the locker also fits that totally realistic situation.
Really curious to know what she did to Brooke in terms of using the locker. And from where I am I think it's totally obvious that Raina is Ray of Sunshine with trying to ask Brooke out via 'do you want some help with that essay' - don't know if the author wanted that to be obvious or it's a false lead for something else but that's what I'm getting so far.
Definitely think Brougham's gonna turn out to be not so bad and just cold due to his parents/house/upbringing as is usually the case... or I may of been reading too many enemies to lovers and need to back off 😂

I'm really enjoying this now

I think Darcy and Brougham are adorable, especially when they both start lowering their guards a little. It's funny how Darcy is so perceptive about everyone's relationships except her own 😂

I'm just over halfway now and really got into it last night and didn't want to put it down.

Absolutely got sucked in by it! 2 hours passed and I had no idea 😲Such good pacing that really helped it flow from one chapter to the next.
But my god she's so oblivious!!! And he's not much better either. Loved seeing them both lower their guards though, it felt authentic and I don't know about you but I could see the advice she gave in the letters at the beginning feeding into the situations at the end.
The vulnerability questions was a really nice touch.
I've also given it 5 stars - After loving Only Mostly Devastated I wasn't sure if this would live up to that but it completely did and more
