Those sound like some nice books.
I couldn't read much. I read the selection series, the Villains Duology (Vicious and Vengeful), Girl Serpent Thorne, a Sudha Murthy book and and Webtoon Lore Olympus. I'm currently reading Throne of Glass series, I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be.

tbh i really love sarah j maas' books. i love her acotar series the most its like one of my all-time favourites haha i guess it really depends on your own opinion about the books. when i read them i wasnt on gr yet and i never knew people hated her books so much ahahaha but i re-read them this year and i love them even more hoho

yeah i don’t really think her books would be something i would enjoy
i also try to stay away from problematic authors as much as possible as i don’t want to support them

I read Where the Forest Meets the Stars at the beginning of April and it’s still stuck in my head
Other than that Other Words for Home and That's What Friends Do are also really good books that I read in may, but they are both middle grade
