Yes. I enjoyed the movie. I haven't read the book so not sure how it compares. The movie is intense. I'm working at Century Boulder for Memorial Day Weekend, so if you haven't seen it yet, stop by if you're in town. I also heard the local Regal theaters have reopened so that might be closer to you.

The Night Watchman was very good! I loved the connections to Mormonism, since that is the culture I grew up in. I have also lived among three Native American Nations: Navajo, Paiute and Crow.

I might look into that 1950's sci-fi book, having recently been reading Alexander Key out of print books from the 1960's and 70's.
I also enjoyed Later by Stephen King - haven't written my review yet.

I am so old school - I hope it goes to DVD. I have noticed less and less are ending up available on DVD. I enjoyed the book, so would be interested in the limited series.

Looks like Those Who Wish Me Dead did not make the cut this week at Century Boulder. Thursday will be the last showing. Cruella and A Quiet Place II knocked Angelina Jolie and Limbo out.

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

A Quiet Place II hits theaters on Friday. The movie is highly anticipated and only about an hour and a half long. I haven't seen it yet but definitely will this weekend.

Look forward to hearing what you think of it. Hope it’s good. :D

Still in a horrible reading slump. Hopefully the summer reading challenge can get out of it!

I've watched A Quiet Place Part 2, seven times at the movie theater in the past week. I'm going to break my personal record of 10 movie viewings while the film is showing in the theater. My current record was set in 2019 with the Elton John fantasy biopic, Rocketman.
It takes a particular film for me to latch onto and be able to obsess over, so it's fun to have this happen again. Typically the movies I like are not mainstream blockbusters and don't stick around for me to get multiple viewings. A Quiet Place is unique because it's popular enough and short enough that I can break my personal record.

Glad to hear it lives up to the original. :D

That's exciting! I did manage to Those Who Wish Me Dead during the week (you weren't working that day). I will now plan on seeing A Quiet Place Part 2!!

I've watched A Quiet Place Part II TEN times now, currently tied with Rocketman (2019), but I will probably watch A Quiet Place again soon and break my current record of TEN viewings of a film while it's playing at the movie theater.
I typically only work Saturday and Sunday at the movie theater :-)
