I don't have any particular books in mind, but I would love to do a buddy read with someone! I typically read murder mysteries, realistic fiction, and romances, but I'm open to pretty much anything but horror.

However, if you were okay with waiting a bit, I could definitely get either of the other two relatively quickly. It's totally up to you :)

As someone who's never done this before, I'm curious, how does this typically work? Just in general, what typically goes on in a buddy read?
Edit: Having now looked into it a bit more, the sense I get is that we pick a start time and a chapter count per day and then discuss it as we go. Does that sound right to you? If so, when should we start and how many chapters per day? And as a mod, can you made a thread for us to discuss this on?
