New kid on the block (and free Kindle Books)

Hi gang. My name is Chris Cobb (as an author I go by C.H. Cobb). I have been a pastor for over 30 years. My present duties include biblical counseling and teaching small groups.

I've written seven novels, plus one non-fiction: a devotional commentary on Psalm 90. All are available on Amazon or from my author website.

My novels include the Falcon series (a Cold War series, military/espionage genre in which the USSR and the USA come to the brink of war); the Outlander Chronicles series (a post-apocalyptic series set in the future after a global pandemic has decimated the global population, written well before COVID was a twinkle in Wuhan's eye); and a political thriller about a presidential candidate (released well before the 2016 election, and no offense, but it's not about Trump or anyone like him). In addition, I co-authored with my granddaughter a delightful children's book about a family with three cats.

All my books are written from a Christian worldview. As a matter of personal choice I don't use any obscenity or sex scenes in my writing, although I do use violence. You can learn more about my books on my author website, and more about my mission in writing at Doorway Press.

I am offering Kindle copies of Falcon Down (book 1 of the Falcon series) and Outlander Chronicles: Phoenix (book 1 of the Outlander series) for free on Amazon, beginning on February 23, 2021, and ending Saturday, February 27, 2021. Links are at the bottom of this post. You are welcome to download and read the books whether or not you write a review, though I would love to have honest reviews. If you sense a nefarious plot in that I am only offering Book 1 of each series for free, well, you are right!
