There are about a half dozen reconstructions out there, but britbox has been very slow to stream them.
Kind of annoying.

I know Macra Terror went to the AMC+ app, as did Faceless Ones. The reason for that, and for these getting animated at all, seems to be that BBC America is co-financing them. So it makes sense (in business terms) that the American streaming rights are going to the same place most of the other BBC America stuff is going.

Just finished Fury From the Deep and while I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d thought I might, it was wonderful. I can see how they would have had a LOT of challenges animating this one as there lots of sequences throughout all six episodes that had long sequences without any dialogue or without any commentary as to what the environment was like, even scene changes without comment from the actors. But then as you’d theoretically see the changes why would they stop to describe it. Still, there was more foam than you could ever hope for. Victoria saves the day. A companion leaves the TARDIS. The first appearance of the sonic screwdriver. The Doctor flies a helicopter. And the chase across the sea in a helicopter while being attacked by giant seaweed - I can’t even imagine what that would have looked like originally. This story does start out a little slow, but it picks up and the last episode is all but non-stop action. And I LOVED the “wanted criminal” signs peppered throughout the episodes. Such a fun egg for fans to enjoy.
