Haha! I'm with you Ann but I'm definitely picking Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations!

I’d second that book as I’ve read it three times and each time it’s motivated me
After reviewing a few nonfiction reads on my book shelf, I have decided to nominate A Girl Named Faithful Plum: A True Story of a Dancer from China and How She Achieved Her Dream by Richard Bernstein.

Not sure about how clean it is tho...

Hannah - while this is a religious/Christian/spiritual book and I am sure good lessons are learned from it, it won't fit with our CLEAN read rules (drugs, prostitution, etc.). We will have to pass on this nomination. Though, please look for another nonfiction to nominate. Thanks.

I have read the unabridged edition and it is a great book. However, I do seem to remember some "adult" things that would not be appropriate for this group. However, looking at comments, I found this: youth version is shorter, uses simpler language, and avoids "adult" subject matter such as what might go on in bars and brothels, and perhaps some of the detail in descriptions.
So I will except The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Young Readers Edition.
