Shell (whodoneit) Brenda, I hope I have put the links in okay. I am hoping that you might help me as I go. I really want to learn to join in but I'm using disability software and it is very hard to be able to put the links in and I have no idea how it appears to you on the page as I can't see it myself. If you could bare with me as I go and suggest how I can make it look as it should I'd be very grateful

You have done very well, Shell! The only thing I was going to ask you to do is 'edit' and put AA (for Aussie author) next to those books which are. I'll link you up now - and I'm glad you're asking for help. We're all happy to help when anyone needs it :)

1. M is for male.
2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke.

Clarke, who was one of the greatest old school sci-fi writers, was British yet lived most of his life in Sri Lanka. In his introduction however he mentions that he passed his driving test in Sydney, Australia in 1956. I can't even find any reference to him visiting Australia, let alone living here.
