I remember everything about the book except the title and author.
The cover was red with girls holding hands on the cover (art not real life).
It centres around the aftermath of a female student who had hung herself. Her former dorm mate finds drawings and a diary underneath the floorboards of their room which reveal she was severely bullied and also reveals a boy she had taken a fascination to outside of the boarding school. Later in the book we discover that she did not kill herself but was murdered by these bullies when they tied a rope around her neck, attached it to a car and drove. She later returns as a ghost. I remember the main bully is named Margot. I also remember there is some kind of ritual or tradition where all the girls are holding hands. It may have been the one year anniversary of her death.
