Read this book with my daughter ~10 years ago. One of our first really long chapter books. Storyline: The siblings (I think two) were stranded after a boating accident and their parents died. They washed up on an island and had to survive through different difficult situations. In one part, there was a scary lady (or lady spirit) who lived in the trees during one part of the book, who I believe captured kids. In another part, they had to find their way to the other side of the island. Eventually they were able to leave the island, and I believe it ended up being a Bermuda-triangle like land of fantasy that they couldn't return to.
