what about Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas?

I don't think it would count as a ya contemporary...

Why not? I don't mean this in a bad way, I just always thought that book was a ya contemporary. :)
Im sorry!! I just checked, and it is filed under ya contemporary. So sorry Natalia :(( thank you so much Alexandra for asking me to confirm!! That could definitely be a potential candidate.
Its Natalie with an e not Natalia with an a

I would suggest Red, White, and Royal Blue, Late to the Party, and The Falling in Love Montage. I've only read Red, White, and Royal Blue and thought it was great, but the other two sound interesting.
How about "Wonder woman" the author who wrote "Six of crows" wrote it? That would be fun to read?
Julia wrote: "Haven't heard of "Anna and the French kiss"?"No offense if anybody here likes it but I've heard it's awful
oh, i didn't know that anna and the french kiss was problematic :/ i guess I'll make some research. but in that case, since it was already mentioned, they both die at the end lsounds good
Just some trigger warnings for One of Us Is Lying--the mental health/depression rep is very bad and can be triggering for some people. Depression is villainized in that book, unfortunately :(

Julia wrote: "What about "ash princess" I read it and would read it again lol :)"Ooh! I second that! I haven't read it yet, but it's sitting on my TBR cart waiting to be read 😅

Please start thinking up some of your favorite books from all of the ya genres so we can then have a more organized vote. I will start tallying up all the answers by the 21'st, so the 20'th is your last day to put a recommendation. I want to give everyone enough time to get the book. If you agree with someone's idea for BOTM, please reply to their post with "I second that" and so on.... More information will be put up about the poll shortly. Thank you so much everyone <3
With love,
