From the POV of the primary/elementary school-aged son, his parents - his dad most enthusiastically, his mum somewhat reluctantly - decide to live in a tree at the local park, somehow related to apes (maybe that apes have a healthy lifestyle?) and try to live on bananas... and maybe leaves?
