And I hear you, learning about writing and marketing is definitely an uphill climb! They're something I still feel like I'm trying to figure out. I think it's wonderful that you're writing what God inspired you to write, and I hope you find lots of support and resources in this group!

Late 2019 I was in a transitional place, unhappy and unsatisfied with my job, my marriage, my finances and my living situation. A message was given at my church about being ready to move and told God I was ready to move in whatever direction He would lead me. I left it all the alter.
A week later I has that dream, and it was an incessant itch at 3am that I could not ignore. God woke me up and said write, so I did. I wrote every day for 30 days. The first book was done. I remember asking Him what land or country was this in and He said Elhaanai. I googled it and came up with nothing, but breaking it down El we know is a word for God, hañai is Hawaiian word for adopted family. Together it could be translated as Gods adopted family and if you read book one it fits with the story.
Each successive story I prayed for direction in writing, when I would go off on my own I would get stuck and end up deleting stuff.

I am a writer of Christian Fantasy and poetry. I published the first book in my trilogy April 2020, Tales of Elhaanai. The second book (The Prophecy) released last week 1/31/21 and the third book will be out on May 1, 2021 (Wages of War).
The main themes throughout the books are about Faith and the battle against good and evil. Where one starts in life does not dictate where they end and redemption is available to all who are willing to receive it.
I have learned so much over the last few months from more experienced writers as well as many in the marketing department. It has been a rough road but I firmly believe God led me to write these stories and hope my readers will see the truth within its pages.
