I feel like the series was called Tales of/from ~place name starting with d~ but i might be wrong.
The protagonists are looking for a series of objects throughout the world(?). The objects may have been associated with or protected by dragons. There was a map in the beginning that also had dragons on it.
The most detailed thing i can remember is an island that was covered in these red flowers that numbed ur legs when u walked through them and (TW bugs/gore) the nasty little bugs that lived in the flowers would eat away at your numbed legs.
I read these around 2012, they were pretty short, if that helps.
