also I just preordered coi and I am working to clear my book schedule for march 2nd because I will start reading the minute the book arrives at my door I might even rip it out of the hands of the mailman we'll see

I would preorder it if not for the fact that preorder is absolute Hell in India. Either copies arrive damaged, or the order get mysteriously cancelled or delayed by months, or it gets lost on the way. The point is, something always ends up happening😭

Haha, must have been a lucky instance. Of the 17 times I have preordered a book, it has unerringly gone wrong in some way. I thought maybe the problem was just with my account and got two friends to try and one got an ink-stained copy with page-edges folded and the other was told her order was dispatched but it ended up never arriving. If it had happened once, I'd have called it coincidence, but 17+2, 19 times? That just can't be explained away

I have two aunts (my mom had three sisters) who're in Toronto and California but the mailing part of that is usually just so expensive😬 that it's illogical, so I might just end up ordering the book after it releases😕 (Of course, there's still the matter of how well I do in the upcoming exams 'cause my performance could motivate my parents to refuse to buy me books forever😨😱)

~ okay so Grace to get the backstory she deserves so people understand she isn’t actually evil and end up loving her like I do and also for her to get happiness and kill Tatiana in revenge for the abuse she put her through
~ Matthew to get smacked in the face to realize Alastair has changed and to become friends with him bc Alastair has at least tried somewhat to make things right
~ Cordelia and James to be happy and have a nice wedding
~ Jesse to be raised from the dead with no repercussions that are bad
~ Lucie not to be hinted by the clave for easing Jesse

~ Belial not actually really being the main villain bc he is lowkey funny but also we know he survives the trilogy bc of GOTSM and TLBOTW so I need the satisfaction of someone dying

~ Lucie being able to transform into a ghost maybe ??? Or some other cool thing with her powers. She can control Ghosts, but is that really all?

- cordelia and james to be happy and the gracelet to be gone
- matthew to be happy (this is a tricky one *cries*) and maybe confess to someone what he's done..
- to have scenes with thomas and Alastair together
- charles to stop being a complete asshole (again a tricky one)
- grace backstory so we could maybe come and like/love her character and undertsand her
- tatiana to burn in hell
- Lucie and cordelia to stop keeping so many secrets from each other...
- i want lucie to tell other people about her powers..
