Aww, I'm sorry! This is definitely one of the slightly better fae book series that I've read. Not the best but man I've read so many worse ones.

That being said, there are some disgustinly ugh moments in this book. The perfectness is annoying at times. Though her not being able to really access the powers makes me happy, lol. makes her not so perfect.

(view spoiler)[I love Ruby still lmao, she’s so unhinged. Their chemistry is still great, although I hate that she’s pushing him away like this. Interested to see where it’ll go now though - still convinced Raegar is Evelyn’s lover, and I already hate how dragged out it’ll be lol. He’s going to be trouble not that he’s aligned with the bitch WP is dating (still don’t like the name valerian), and I hate that WP and her will still be dating for the views ugh. Not sure whether I love that there are multiple books honestly 🤣

they enchanted the food omg what. She made her undress and throw food over her???!? Why on fucking earth would WP not just kill her and her brother for disrespecting his mate what the fuck - I do hope Summer will insanely publicly humiliate Inara. I really don’t get how they’re going to hide it anyway, the people at the banket (I thought that was every student) saw right????? Ugh I hate this. I feel so conflicted idk it just feels like we’re back where we started ugh I hate it. She got saved by a spring fae clearly, I hope it isn’t a LI because that would have no point unless it’s a RH, and I’d hate it if he was a LI. Ughhhh. Also not looking forward to others trying to make her quit because they’d get a reward from Inara, I hope it won’t be too much :( But intense beginning again.

I don’t get why Inara would pick on her at all, since summer could literally ruin her life and reputation? Makes. No. Sense. Argh I HATE unnecessary drama. Spring has enrolled and it’s madly influencing Eclipsa - was he her lover or some shit? Can’t wait to find out. Already hate Hellebore, what even is that name? And why do they tell their names if it’s so important, no one but valerian is anonymous wtf? Ugh so he’s implementing new rules that treat them as slaves to them & that they have to earn their place, I fucking hate it all. He sucks. He’s also clearly evil so I’m guessing he’s behind the Darklings anyway. Not looking forward to seeing this unfold, especially because once again she won’t get to be with Valerian and I’m getting sick of it😭 (hide spoiler)]

It also makes no sense for the SP (calling him that instead of Hellebore💀) to save her just to condemn her wtf. Damn she’s having dreams with Val’s memories, that sucks :( I hope we’ll get answers on the winter court’s situation soon & why his grandfather hated him so much wtf. And where he is now. And why she’s seeing his memories - since she has a fae soul, does she have magic or is it just their bond. Too many unanswered things and I just want it to be over already🤣 it’s not that I’m hating it but it’s just so slow and frustrating idk man, nothing has really happened since book one. Maybe I’m salty today idk🤣

someone clearly let the griffin out but of course her stupid fucking ass ran into trouble again. She’s so exhaustingly dumb. Also, hadn’t she met a griffin in last book as well or was that something else? It bowed to her, again like Harry Potter, can she now talk to animals or is she once again just lucky? Ugh of course she forgot the selkies I already have a headache from rolling my eyes I cannot. I do love Eclipsa omg I so badly wish she was the MC, or Mack 😭😭 Summer is detestable. Are you fucking serious, she compares herself to a griffin that was locked in a cage because ‘they’re the same’??!?!?! Yes, your daily feedings, coffee, friends and free space are indeed just as terrible as being locked in a cage away from your mate for years!!!!! Get over yourself omg she’s SO FRUSTRATING I’m so sick of her feeling sorry for herself while she has no reason - her life wasn’t terrible at all and it’s fucking BS. Maybe Hellebore/SP is Evelyn’s ‘lover’, he has powers of seduction so maybe he forced those girls to sleep with him so he could create more darklings? Yeah definitely that’s it. Why is she still wearing Mack’s clothes while she has enough other clothes wtf she’s so annoying and basically just asking for it at this point, dressing like a stripper and then complaining about it ffs. Valerian deserves so much better. Mack is wearing an ankle dress herself are you fucking serious. Why then chose her shortest dress just to complain again fuck OFF the inconsistencies 💀💀💀💀💀 she’s still so insanely slow, she’s only now realizing that they were talking about SP and that he was involved with Eclipsa stop. I’m so frustrated I cannot omg Krystal.

They’re going to do a hunt. I can already see where this is going, SP will get to her before valerian can and she’ll become his shadow instead, I’m so fucking over this. He’s also clearly the one to know WP’s real name. Why would they even have another selection when they’re already selected fuck off. It’s cute that the summer queen came to her rescue tho, she clearly knows it’s her daughter. I’m stopping for now because I’m no longer enjoying and getting so annoyed. Hope tomorrow will be better.
