What an annoying policy, Shel! I'm sorry!

I just started this and it definitely is a quick read. I'm a bit lost but in a good way, I think. I don't know what I expected coming into this, basically having only heard it was a "sci-fi romance", but it's definitely different than what I thought! I hope to start understanding the world a bit better because it sounds fascinating.

My suggestion (non spoilery) is to not worry too much about understanding the world. Its not that important. Its primarily just a back drop for the interactions between the two characters. Not saying to ignore it, just don't get hung up on the understanding. :)

Agreed - I enjoyed it much more when I stopped trying to understand it! Will say more on the spoiler thread (which I've just started) when I have a chance!
