I gave in to marketing pressure and gave A Court of Thorns and Roses a go. It was okay, the main character is a bit annoying. Started A Court of Mist and Fury which I really enjoyed even though it was predictable and the sex scenes were more cringy than anything else. The third book was a huge disappointment, I was bored halfway through. Far too long and too many random events happening which I assume is to add drama or tension but it doesn't add to the storyline at all A Court of Wings and Ruin. Terrible, terrible book.

Thankfully I did these on audio so I don't feel I wasted any effort.
