Finished the Kane and Abel trilogy yesterday, while I did really enjoy the first one, the other two weren't that good. Hopefully without spoiling it, the second was a major rehash of the first, and the third was altered to become the third book, but it didn't work for me.

Finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, which I really enjoyed, but which I also thought over-long.Started We by Yevgeny Zamyatin, the Russian dystopian novel supposed to have been the inspiration for George Orwell's 1984. I'm 13% through and it's not making the slightest bit of sense so far (I'm definitely reading the English translation).
Just finished the utterly tedious We by Yevgeny Zamyatin (precursor to George Orwell's wonderful 1984).Just started An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen (psychological thriller).
Just finished Miss Mapp by E. F. BensonIt's free from Project Gutenberg

I'm really bad at posting on here, have read Codename Villanelle and The Quiche of Death this month, the first wasn't as good as the TV series, the second was fun, and I even managed to overlook the fact they changed the looks of Agatha Raisin, would read more of those but not the rest of the Killing Eve books. Hoping to squeeze a couple of books in, with my time off

Enjoyed the first one and the second is as good,
I finished Book of Souls and started The Shadow Sister and decided to start reading two books at once again, with Purgatory being my bathroom book, as I found the first one was better read in bits rather than all in one go.

Read a short story by Isaac Asimov, recommended on another group - The Gentle Vultures - reviewed - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4477659075
I finished my second book The Shadow Sister this has been my favourite of the series, I was so impressed with both the strong, independent animal loving women from the past, and the quirky bookshop that allowed you to sit in front of a fire, reading and being given coffee from the current time, I could just read it all over again. 5*

I've just finished the Cicero Trilogy by Robert Harris The Cicero TrilogyAlthough to be fair I picked up the three books in charity shops before I started to read them :-)
I enjoyed it. Harris is a good writer, he seems to have a feel for the period and wrote a good story and still seems to have managed to stick pretty well to the history we know
