ABANDONED. Video game orphan brain trust book

Hey guys, I'm trying to remember the title of a book. It's about a kid who's parents died in a fire. He loves playing a video game based on space travel. He gets sent to an orphanage, where they have the game he loves in the rooms. He gets a really good score, which leads the creator of the game to come to the orphanage and adopt him. He is brought to a complex full of other genius kids who are trying to find the secret of immortality. If someone could help me figure out what the title of this book is, I'd be really grateful.
