This book is nothing like I thought it'd be mostly because I thought Nova would be the heroine's daughter as well. It's a weird dynamic and I kinda hate the fighting over her and how cruel they are willing to be to get her. I get both her and Nate's POV and I'm not sure who I side with. Custody over kids is always a mess.
This is not like a regular Tijan book and I guess I thought Nate's would be very different than what we are getting. Not even sure if I like it at this point lol. (hide spoiler)]

Finished So disappointed in this book. Maybe my expectations were too high but this was not the story I expected for the one and only Nate Monson. (view spoiler)[I don't know what makes me more upset. The lack of any type of relationship development or that damn ending with the two sentences six months then one year later. This would have been an excellent time to showcase them as an established couple but it was just left open. Given that most of the story isn't even about them I must say, I'm not a fan overall :( (hide spoiler)]
