Eeee love that u read it so quick hehehe! I’m on page 70, I really love where it’s going but I am finding myself having to really concentrate 😅 Like it’s not quite as easy as the last book I read 🤷♀️ Still really good though!!

Page 161 - just met Stella and wowwww shit just got real!! I was waiting to see if we’d read anything from her point of view 🤷♀️ Hooked now 😂
Finished it last week and really enjoyed it! One of the main reasons I loveee this book club is because it encourages me to read things out of my comfort zone, and this definitely was one of those books!
I think this will be made into a movie!! The plot was so good!
Really strong themes in it that I found thought provoking and interesting to read about.
I liked and disliked all the main characters at the same time. There were points I LOVED Jude but then points I didn’t like her, and the same with the rest of them!
I felt like the ending was a little half finished and I was left wanting more closure. Also I think it was a little hard to get into at first!
Having said that, I am really glad I’ve read it!! Would recommend ☺️🙌

This was VERY highly requested so I thought I'd listen to you guys and choose something a bit different! I have to admit this isn't something I'd usually choose but hey, isn't that what this book club is all about?! Trying something new?! Let's give it a go and see if it's worth the hype!! Let me know if you're joining us on this one :)
Start date: 02/02/21
Aim to finish by: 02/03/21
Summary:
The Vignes twin sisters will always be identical. But after growing up together in a small, southern black community and running away at age sixteen, it's not just the shape of their daily lives that is different as adults, it's everything: their families, their communities, their racial identities. Ten years later, one sister lives with her black daughter in the same southern town she once tried to escape. The other secretly passes for white, and her white husband knows nothing of her past. Still, even separated by so many miles and just as many lies, the fates of the twins remain intertwined. What will happen to the next generation, when their own daughters' story lines intersect?
