I had suggested that for the first board, but it seemed we never had a clear-cut strategy other than checkerboard. I am still ok with assigning rows.

Woohoo for finding more ships! After today's update, we just need to find one more.

It looks like our next target spots should be B4, B7, E2, G1, and I1.

It also looks like Team 1 is closing in on sinking the 4 biggest ships. They've not yet found their Destroyer which is only 2 spots.

Hi guys. I’m alive. I have a few books to update, but I don’t have time right now. I’ve had a doozy of a couple weeks and got behind on posting and have been reading a little less. Great job finding so many ships!!!

That sounds like a plan to me! :) I1 was already used last night and it was a hit.

After those spots are hit, does everyone agree we should go back to our rows? I'm all ears if anyone has a different strategy.

Hey, Bess, what do you think of Sylvia Mercedes’ books? I know her books by her former pen name and loved them. But I haven’t read any books under SM. I would imagine she’s still great at characters, setting, and plot. But are they clean?

I love her other named-books.
SM is mostly clean, some profanities and gore (Venatrix). But no sex or drug use. I generally don't like profanities at all. However, knowing who she is and how much I love her other books, I'm more lenient.
They are dark, just like she promised on her old site. Very dark. I have to take breaks between her books or I tend to dream about them, like last night. :)

Great job! We have one shot left on our Carrier and three others sunk. Looks like our next to find is the other 3-spot, so we should try to space our guesses accordingly. :)

Nope. Not unless there's an edition in existence that is a combo volume.

I've got 2 hours left in my audiobook. Hope to finish it today. :) B3 is the first goal, then should we all aim for that middle section where there haven't been any hits?

I'm assuming we should still be following a checkerboard pattern if we are all targeting the middle? I'm planning to change my last target spot because Kimberly and I targeted spots right next to each other. :)

And if we should still be doing checkerboard, I'm confused by the C5 selection?
