Trying to find a kids book with a black girl as the central character who goes shopping / takes the bus / something about a grandma .. Similar to amazing grace but not that.

Hi - read it in the 90s and it’s probably for age ranges 7-10 I think.

Let's Go All Around the Neighborhood by Patty Thomas maybe? It was one of my favs as a kid. Little girl goes shopping and runs errands with her mom.
