I think it was a regency/historical of some sorts, cant recall time period.
Heroine has attempted suicide but was driven by her brother to do so.
Hero sees marks and tells her where to cut next time for a cleaner cut (😬).
Heroine’s family force her into a marriage because they need the money.
Heroine is involved in some scandal i cant recall. She also thinks shes not a virgin? Memory is a little hazy here.
Hero doesnt really care for the heroine at first, but comes to love her.
Heroine is a bit unsure of her feelings at first, but then falls for hero also.
Heroine’s brother attempts to kill hero by tricking him away from
Home.

Heroine obv has a very interfering (to say the least) family.
