It was hard for me to jump to the cold case that Kim was trying to solve in the middle of this prime mystery. I know a cop has to juggle a lot of cases at the same time, but I sometimes find it hard to read two different cases and keep the facts separate in my head.
Robin, it does often feel like that. I appreciate them because it gives me a measure of how well they’re reading clues and profiling the killer.
I was impressed with how quickly they were able to identify the victims using missing persons tools and the autopsy results. They did this swiftly, which is why it was so confounding that they didn’t use the same methods for Isobel.
Kim’s focus on tiny threads in the search for Bob’s identity. It was believable because it was a cold case and she had little else.

I like the details and clues that the team follows. It feels real to me and shows the team work that goes into solving a case. I like the insight into what detectives do to solve a case.
