Kim discovers Jemima’s body at the Westerley Farm because she rightly noticed that the flies were assembled away from the research bodies. Did you find it curious at the time that the Professor didn’t notice or was he caught up in his tour? Did that cause suspicions?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) I didn't notice anything at the time, although you would have thought that the Professor would have been a tune to that. But maybe he was caught up in his work and only focusing on whether the known bodies were.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I didn't think anything of it at the time. I do think the Professor would have thought it was strange.

It seemed odd to me given that he was head of the farm. He should have noticed the strange gathering of those flies, that they were there but not around the two supposedly new additions. Yes, it caused me to raise my eyebrow.

Jo Ann (jojog) | 104 comments Great question. In retrospect I should have caught on to this right away.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments I wondered why the professor didn't see it right away. I think I've read too many "body farm" books in the past. Usually a worker at the body farm finds the body and calls the police. Kim has great instincts and was curious from the start. I love that Kim and her team were sent there to learn about forensics and ends up teaching her lesson so to speak.
