I am reading Eternity atm, which in summary has really strict morale rules to follow unless you want the karma of the Furies to descend on you. Could this be linked to Gremlins movie? Don't break the rules unless you want chaos to reign link ! if we have another book that fits Author name beginning with E that is.

Hi, sorry I’ve been so inactive. I’m in a reading slump and have been celebrating my birthday with family and friends! I do have a book to input though so I will do that soon.Actually Shadow and Bone came out on my birthday so I thought it was meant to be <3 I’m waiting for a good time to binge it with my friends on Netflix Party. But I’m a very big Grishaverse fan!!

Thank guys! I will revise the needed list later today, and since no one is crying foul, I will fill in the empty cards for the main hand with ones that were listed as read, but not put on the list. I will of course, do this after I have had some more coffee. I could not wake up this morning. Can today be Saturday too, so I can have tomorrow off as well? Any of you have a time manipulator that you are willing to share with me? Please?

I´ll find an author with an "E", I only have two others unfinished, one of them I´ve started and one of them is short, so I should be able to manage it in time :)
I am reading The Wife Upstairs and came across this part of the book and think it would work for cinema: "We go to the movies, and sit in the back, like teenagers."
What do you guys think? I don't want to screw anything up in the 11th hour. :)

What does it matter if Seeds of Yesterday is on twice? There is no rule that says you can't use the same book more than once.
Hi Jenny:I would appreciate it if you could please answer my questions as there are some confusing things on our spreadsheet and I feel rather demoralized and what I read doesn't seem to matter to this group as many books I input, again, are being removed.
1. Again, my books are being deleted & I don't know why -
Ex. Either Hand 3 - 7 Red or Hand 6 9 Red, I can't remember which one, I had a book there and either you or Alla removed it? Why? Please refrain from removing my books.
2. What are lines 139 - 177? These are very confusing and have no explanation of what they are for?
3. April Mini challenge:
I AM FINDING THAT THE EXPLANATION FOR MOST OF THESE THINGS IS NOT CLEAR AND RATHER CONFUSING.
I read a book, Seeds of Yesterday that was published in 1984 - as the category says, however, once again, you removed it, why? Please refrain from removing my books as I am part of the team too.
B1: OPTIONAL SCHOOL WORK YOU CAN DO - if UNO is spelled U-N-O, then why is the U not excluded from SUMMER SCHOOL - The letters in the challenge should be
S, M, E, R, C, H, L
B2: WHAT THE COOL KIDS WEAR: LEGWARMERS
Again if the NON (means not) UNO letters are to be listed, then why is E not listed? E is NOT in the word UNO???
A3 SWEET DREAMS
Again, You and Angela Sch removed my books? Why? Please refrain from removing my books. Last time I checked, I am also on this team. I have expressed this before as it is not only demoralizing but rude when we are all on the same team.
I understand that both you, Jenny and Alla listen to books on Audio very quickly. That is fine and that is your preference. However, not everyone can do that. It is imperative for both of you to please respect other team members who are not Auditory readers and who still prefer to hold the book in our hands. Please back down and give us a chance to read our books too.

I only have 1 book that I am finishing, The Silver Chair, if it has NOT been removed from the spreadsheet again. It will get done... less than 100 pages to read.

We can use a book in the main hand and the mini, but not the same book twice in the mini, or twice in the main hand (unless it is part of a Draw 2).
As far as the Spell Out portion of the mini challenge and why some letters are missing? That is what the people who made the mini-challenge decided to do.
Just so there is no confusion here. No one is trying to keep you from getting credit for your books.
As captain, I have to make sure that the books are entered correctly for the card, or for the mini challenge. The rules for Uno are spelled out, and if a book is entered incorrectly we will not get credit for it.
Yes, there are faster readers and slower readers.
Personally, I read a lot more than I entered, so others could put their books down.
There is no plot to have the most books in the hand.
I know notifications have been bad on GR of late, but I have posted here many times about the rules, about whether anyone has questions, about books still claimed but unread, etc, etc.
I removed two books from the mini challenge. One was The Bone Maker, as whoever put it down listed it as an M book. It is not. The other was one of the times AngelaSn had Seeds of Yesterday on the mini. As stated above, we only get to use a book once.
Angela, I PM'd you with the answers to your other questions.
Now I have to get some work done, so I will check back later to see if I didn't cover everything.
I am not quite sure Angela Snyder why I was specifically called out. I DID NOT remove ANY of your books. I only claimed spots and kept those spots that were empty and I knew that I could read for. Everything I claimed, I read for. NOT ONCE did I move your name to put one of my books on there. Please make sure you have your facts straight before you think about blasting me again.

Just to be VERY CLEAR here Angela Snyder, I have not removed ANY book from ANYONE on the spreadsheet and I didn´t even add my books on the spreadsheet this round apart from books that could be used as a Draw card and one book for a Wild card, everything else I put in the bottom of the spreadsheet to be used if NEEDED.
I did that, since I read and listen to alot of books, so others could put theirs in.
I do not like to be accused of things like this. I have never removed a single book from anyone in this game, ever!!!
It looks like we will finish guys. So yay team!!!!Katie is not going to read for the 1 green, but there is one that will work for that in the extra books. However, if someone wants to read a quick book for that card, feel free to grab it. I will fill the slot tomorrow night.
The other open spots have been claimed, or can be covered with what we have read already. I have one book left which I will probably finish tonight, or in the morning.
Thank everyone for stepping up and covering all the cards and all the weird eighties prompts. And just to be clear, yes, I did own leg warmers and headbands. I gave the spandex a pass though.

I can take the spaces from Katie and Amanda with my two books if necessary. My school book can work for a yellow card and the book I just finished can work for the card number six.If not, I can just put it in excess!

Phez, it happens at the same time every year. You should also check out the Nothing But Reading Challenges group if you are not there already. The Tower Teams group challenge just started, but if you are interested you may get put on a team as a sub.Also, the Wheel challenge in that group is really fun. Not sure when that will be- probably towards the end of the year.
