Currently Reading - who's reading what
Just finished Dark Matter and really enjoyed it. Next is a non BOTM while I await the August books, The Book of Ruth
Ninth House is slow going for me so I've also started A History of Wild Places to see if that goes faster
I recently just finished Violet Made of Thorns and I think next I plan on reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

Michelle wrote: "A History of Wild Places is on my list to add to a box one of these months!.."I hope you love it too!
It's really hard for me to get into it. Not a fan of it. But I have found some interesting items mentioned like how PR isn't considered or has representation at the capital. So no one to speak up for them or their island.
I stopped the other book I was reading to start The Saints of Swallow Hill. After 10 years of trying this is my first Goodreads giveaway win!!! I was so excited 🥳
Michelle wrote: "I stopped the other book I was reading to start The Saints of Swallow Hill. After 10 years of trying this is my first Goodreads giveaway win!!! I was so excited 🥳"oooh Congrats on the win!!
I have this one on my shelf too!! You'll have to come back and let us know how it was!!
Congrats Michelle on your winning!!Keep entering you will win again, just be persistent.
I try and check the giveaways every week. I've won over 50 in my 12 yrs here at GR.
I just finished
the other day and I've started
. TLF has been on my TBR for a while now, I saw it on a deep discount on Prime day (I think it was like $6) so I snapped it up. Only ~40 pages in now but so far I am enjoying it
Just finished
oooh great twisty little story. slow at first but it speeds up about midway!
and now starting
I love this author, I'm excited for this one!

I am about 1/2 way through it and am enjoying it very much.
I got The It Girl too!! Trying to be just finishing a book when my box arrives so I can start that one immediately
Trisha wrote: "finished The It GirlSO good! I loved it!
now on to:
"Ohh, I got Once There Were Wolves in my August box, but haven’t started yet. Looking forward to seeing what you think.
Finished The Saints of Swallow Hill and starting Remarkably Bright CreaturesAfter this, I am getting back to my BOTM books.
Michelle wrote: "Once There Were Wolves, loved it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Starting The It Girl"
got The it girl but haven't read it yet.
I really enjoyed the It Girl. Some of Ware's novels are not my favorite but It Girl was one of the better ones imo.Just looked up War Girls and that looks good! I love dystopian stuff. I'll keep an eye out for your review
I just finished The Many Daughters of Afong Moy and loved it. 5 stars. About to start Two Nights in Lisbon
Trisha wrote: "I'm hearing so many good things about
!! I might need to tuck it in my next box!"Same…I was going to add it to my September box, but there were already so many good choices!

YES! September had so many good choices it was hard to get any other add ons! lol
Trisha wrote: "I'm hearing so many good things about

But this one sounds a bit more confusing with 7+ story lines to follow and somehow they are all sisters? or are they just related. I might try to read it from the library but I don't think I'll buy it. Or I'll wait till I Trisha or Michelle or any one else in this group to let us know if it's worth picking up or not.
I've read quite a few this month. just finished Piranesi - I really liked it!
finishing up
and getting ready to start:
Currently reading Lessons in Chemistry. Really behind on all of my BOTM picks but hope to close the gap by December!
Tiffany wrote: "Currently reading Lessons in Chemistry. Really behind on all of my BOTM picks but hope to close the gap by December!"Good luck!! I'm behind too but getting caught up, it does feel really good to cross books off my tbr 📚😍
Jennifer wrote: "
as I have a bunch of NetGalley books waiting too"
My netgalley list is out of control! lol I'm trying to catch up there too!! (and not download new ones. . .too much! lol)
Trisha wrote: "My netgalley list is out of control! lol I'm trying to catch up there too!! (and not download ..."Yea, I just started getting into NG and found out the hard way that when I grab a bunch of books it affects my feedback ratio. I also downloaded a bunch and then realized I was on a timer once they are downloaded. So, trying to clean up my NG but not fall behind further with BOTM, plus I've been looking forward to Daisy Darker and waited until this month. So far Daisy is so good!!
Finished The It Girl and just starting The Winners. I am so excited for this final book of Bear Town!!
oooh I'm drowning in books so I haven't started that one yet but I'm excited to read it too!! I hope you love it!
I'm so behind , even more than you guys. I haven't read any of the books I got in months!I'm trying to stay caught up on groups that I participate in which give me no time to pick up these BOTM reads.
This is this months reads:

If I put the petel to the metal, I can read 10 books a month, so I might be able to squeeze one BOTM this month.
Those look like some good books for the month! Super pretty covers!! I hope you love them all!and fingers crossed you can get at least 1 BOTM book in! lol
I know I'm really behind. I wasn't reading them too much for the first year or 2 I got them! So now I'm playing a bit of catch up both from ordering 3-6 books each month plus all my back log! lol I belive in us though!! We can do it!
Elsa! That's quite a bit of reading there, I understand why you're behind on BOTM lol I read mine the month I got them for a few years and then with my health issues I had a horrible time concentrating, so that meant my reading went from 30ish books/yr to none or only a few. I kept buying books at the same rate (or faster if I'm honest, shopping was a good time passer lol) and now I've got so many books literally sitting on my book shelves that I haven't even touched except to move them to my new apartment. I agree with Trisha, fingers crossed you can squeeze in another October book! and yea, Trisha those are all pretty covers! You gotta love pretty covers.
I'm just about at the end of Daisy Darker and I'm so sad it's ending!! Feeney has cemented her place on my favorite authors list for sure.

I'm in the middle of The Change and I loved the first half but the second half so far is somewhat going downhill.
