Ooh I’d love to read Tarzan! But following the same path, I’ll also nominate ‘The Jungle Books’ by Rudyard Kipling. It’s been on my shelf for a while now to read so would be good to get to it :)

I almost nominated Kim by Rudyard Kipling. So The Jungle Book, published 1894, will fit nicely.

I literally thought March might be the month for classics!! Though in my head it was because I was thinking to honor the March sisters (Little Woman) >.< I have no idea why lol...I'll nominate Alice's Adventures in Wonderland / Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll (not sure if both parts are one book or not?)
I really wanted to read Pride And Prejudice or anything other by Jane Austin but I think it’s published a lot later than 1950, somewhere in the 2000th? Is this a problem?
