I guess I spend a lot of time with y'all because I dreamed about meeting some of you the other night. O_O Me, Morgan, Gabs, and Amanda-with-the-red-shirt, where all hanging out eating cookies and talking about how we needed to meet the rest of you guys. Kendra might have been there too... It was awesome!@Gabs: O_O Your name isn't Gabs anymore... And you look like some creepy Star Wars person.
Yes, I love pseudonyms and the name Acacia ever since I was introduced to it in Bryan Davis's books. It is like being an undercover agent with a secret identity. Not really, I guess. But it is fun to imagine. :-)
Ah!! Wouldn't it just be great to have an Ilyon Chronicles author and fans get-together? :D :DI would love to meet all of you!! ^_^
Too bad we all live in different states because we need to have a picnic in the woods and have horse races across a green meadow. Oh! Then have a campfire and roast cinnamon apples.
We should totally find a way to get together someday... Like when we can all drive and money for gas. :P Because you all are awesome!Acacia wrote: "The pic is for the new bad guy (Kylo Ren) in the new Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. I am so excited for it!!!"
O____________________O
THE BAD GUY HAS A NAME?????? AND A FACE?????????!!!!!!! OH WOW. I didn't realize how excited I was for Star Wars VII till you said that.
Haha! Yes, undercover agents are cool. :D
YESYESYES!!! That would be amazing... I'd probably crush you all with huge hugs... someone has to bring all the chocolate...
That would be so amazing. I live in Massachusetts, though, so anywhere even slightly west of me is far. But we should have an Ilyon fan convention!

I second this! :D
Stargazer, cool dream! I've had dreams about meeting Internet friends before. And we should totally have an Ilyon fan convention someday. :)
I'm in north-east Texas, so not terribly close, but not terribly far either. I'm just obsessed with odd facts like that. (Um, and a fun fact that isn't related to Ilyon but anyways - the original setting of book two of my Rizkaland Legends was Lebanon, Kansas. This was because it was one of the "stops" on a road-trip inspired VBS I attended at the time.)
That's cool. :) I feel like we have a lot of Texans here. (I'm a Massachusettsian - so - I'm not, but Texas seems cool.)I love odd facts too. Like, did you know that it rains diamonds on Uranus and Neptune? How awesome is that???
(Oh, that's fun! I assume then that it is not set in Lebanon anymore?)
Texas is just a big state and holds a lot of people, I guess. And actually, Texas is hot. Especially in the summer. Right now, it's also rather wet.Ooh, and the Neanderthal skeletons have a larger cranial capacity than modern human beings. (Meaning they probably had bigger brains.)
(No, it's now near my own hometown in North-east Texas.)
Ouch. Hot and wet are two things that I do not like together. I like dry 70 degree days with access to either air conditioning or a pool.I heard about that! And I heard that Neanderthal humans aged more slowly than us now, because this was pre-flood when people lived to 600+ years old easily. After that, God made it so that people would live to less than 120 and they aged how we do now.
@Kendra: I didn't know you were a Texan! :O That's awesome!Amanda wrote: "Ouch. Hot and wet are two things that I do not like together. I like dry 70 degree days with access to either air conditioning or a pool.
"
I love hot! And wet! Less then 70 is too cold for me. 80s are best. I live in Texas and don't have AC. :D (Whenever I go shopping I freeze. XD)
Haha. I'm from Connecticut and currently living in Texas.Texas is hot, but it's not as bad as I anticipated.
Well, that should be a relief. I think it's the difference in humidity that really affects how hot it is. It's drier in Texas than Connecticut.
That's nice. It gets extremely humid here. I have a pool, but still. I'd rather have dry heat than feel oppressed under the horrendous weight of the humid air...Okay I'm done.
WEST Texas is dry. EAST Texas is as humid as a steamkettle, thanks to it's proximity to the Gulf Coast. I don't know whether humid heat or humid cold is worse, because when it's hot, it's close and sticky and I CAN'T BREATH, but when it's cold, the wet just sends arrows of chill straight through your clothes and to your bones and we are miserable. But, for the most part, I enjoy Texas. It's a nice state to put down roots in.
It's actually a little humid out here in west Texas by our standards. And I don't like it. But, yeah, a meetup would be fun! We'd probably have to pick a place in the middle of nowhere so we don't bother anyone with the noise of everyone fangirling all at once. :P
Or we could all randomly show up on Jaye's doorstep. I think she lives in Wisconsin. Either than or Wyoming. It's one of the mid-east W states.
Hahaha....that's funny Miss Claire. Ah, it would be so fun though!!! I'd be nervous (like I usually am with new people) but excited at the same time.
(@Kendra) yeah! after we read Half Blood and we can pin her against the wall and scream "How could you do such a thing to poor Jace." and then we can have a crying party ;) JK
Hmm, more of us are in Texas then I thought! I love the heat so I'm happy here. But yeah, we should totally show up on Jaye's doorstep! One or two at a time Dwarves-from-the-Hobbit style, till her house is full of us. :D Though, her brothers would probably have to be there to protect her from us violent fangirls. XD
...Totally joking, I want to meet Jaye and give her a big hug and get to literally scream about how much I love Jace! :D
Let's all just show up on her doorstep. That would be amazing. (Hobbit style - um, YES!)Amanda Beguerie, at your service! Do you have any shortbread?
Er...I live nowhere near anyone. *cries sadly* I guess from this list I'm the closest to Kendra. Uh, Florida, anyone? I live on the coast about halfway down. It's very...um...wet, and hot. I guess if you like the beach...or sailing...or alligators. Armadillos? Lizards? C'mon, someone has to like one of those!
anyone Virginia? :'( I'm sitting here anyone like anyone from the northish south;) Virginia, West Virginia anywhere!
I like the beach and alligators! And Armadillos! (And Manatees!!) I used to live in Florida but now I live in West Virginia. It would be awesome to meet you all!
What about me?! I'll be moving to Puerto Rico in less than a month!!! I'm a military brat so I move around. Miss Jaye, I might just be your first fan girl in Puerto Rico!
That's funny. We should totally randomly show up on Jayes doorstep!! ;) Hmmm, not too many New Englanders here, there do seem to be a lot of Texans though. ;)
@Lily it was really cool! If you don't mind my asking what part of West Virginia do you live? We live like one hour an hour and a half away from the West Virginia line
I live in Wisconsin. So I really like the idea of showing up at Jaye's doorstep. ;) And just to confirm, Jaye does live in Wisconsin.
