Congratulations, girlfriend. Madame Dragon Rider Kendra. MDRK.Goodreads should have titles. I could rock those.
Yeah, somethin' like. I now have a beautiful purple dragon named Sunset. It took me 900 posts to get there.
*sits here in awestruck silence, pondering the meaning of life and whether she can invent a teleportation device to wind up somewhere with dragons*Dude.
Sounds like a great fanbase you got here, Jaye. Keep on talking, Kendra. I will join you among the Dragon Riders in the next ten years or so. By then I'll be in the target age. When I tell people that I love books, they say, "Are there any good ones you recommend?"
And then I freak out and talk about Ilyon until their ears fall off and I know my mission is complete.
Usually I know I should fade out when their eyes start averting from my face and they intentionally stare at boring things.
And that is where all my talking is directed.

Do I talk too much..."
NO YOU DO NOT TALK TO MUCH. But maybe that's why I've dreamed about meeting you more then anyone else in the group: because you're on here a lot... But you're comments are great and I love them!
I feel like the baby of the group with only 92 comments. :( And I agree with Stargazer Amanda, you don't talk too much! ;)
I never noticed comment numbers before. And I just realized I was getting them mixed up with the number of comments on a thread. Oops. I can't find mine right now.@Tammara: But you make your presence felt. :)
@A'laura: You're like the newest person here, so that's very much okay.
@A'laura: Middle Earth!! Favorite book? :D (Also, if Ilyon and Middle Earth are your life, you should try out the Goldstone Wood books by Anne Elisabeth Stengl.:) )
@Stargazer I love LOTR! I'm having a Hobbit/LOTR marathon right now. Extended editions! And Ooh!! I'll have to look those up!
@A'laura: YES LOTR! Best! Have you read The Silmarillion? MARATHON? :O AWESOME!! Those are the funnest EVER! I had a LOTR a few months ago! (I like never watch the non Extended movies. XD)
@Stargazer I have both versions of ALL the movies!! I have not read the Silmarillion yet but my mom (hopefully) is getting it for my birthday along with the Outlander books and Doon books.
Well, my family has all the versions too (except, Extended Hobbit 1. I need that so badly), but if I watch them it's ALWAYS the Extended. I don't even really remember what bits are Extended anymore, because of that. Cool! It's a little tiny bit hard to read, but it is so worth it. BECAUSE SAD AND BEAUTIFUL AND EPIC! :D
@Stargazer I have commentary marathons of the movies too because they're absolutely hilarious!! And I've heard it's hard to read but that's okay. It's by Tolkien so OF COURSE I'm reading it!
(You just sent me a friend request right when I was going and looking at your profile to do the same. XD The Lord of the Rings is an instant friend finder.)
I've never NOT watched the extended version of LOTR!! We do have the theatrical versions though, we just don't watch them. ;)

I was so sad they didn't have a cast commentary. :( Yes, OF COURSE! :D Have you heard of his kid's book Roverrandom?
Tamara wrote: "I've never NOT watched the extended version of LOTR!! We do have the theatrical versions though, we just don't watch them. ;)"Heehee! Yeah... I feel like I've never watched them. I'm always saying to my sister "I LOVE that part so much" and she's like "That wasn't in the origanal" and I'm like "What? No way!" XD
Yeah, my dad does that. We get really upset they don't have certain parts in the theatrical even though we haven't seen it. ;)
Tamara wrote: "Yeah, my dad does that. We get really upset they don't have certain parts in the theatrical even though we haven't seen it. ;)"I know! It's horrible!
A'laura wrote: "@Stargazer No I have not. I guess that's another book to read soon!"
Yes! It's really fun! It's about a dog. :D https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...
I just watched FOTR EE for the second time last night showing it to a friend who hadn't seen any version at all. I've seen theatrical nearly a dozen times. I really want to watch the commentaries. And ALL the bonus features. So much material, so little time. It's like I need to get sick or something so I can watch all that TV.

Speaking of LOTR, there's a song called "Lord of the Rings in 99 seconds" by PAINT on YouTube and it's hilarious!
A'laura wrote: "Speaking of LOTR, there's a song called "Lord of the Rings in 99 seconds" by PAINT on YouTube and it's hilarious!"Cool! I'll have to look that up! There's a "Lord of the Rings in 60 seconds" on YouTube, that hilariously describes the entire thing.
Well, this is interesting. I think I'm *more* chatty in real life than this. xD And I kind of keep forgetting about the Jorum...whoops.
You guys are awesome! I love The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I've read The Hobbit twice and I've been in The Two Towers for almost 2 years!!! I'm taking forever to get through it.... :-(
I haven't seen The Lord of the Rings in Extended Edition but I really want to buy it and see it. The first and second Hobbit movies I have in Extended Edition (but I've only seen the first Hobbit movie in EE) and I want to get the third as soon as it comes out. Those are like my top favorite movies (you know...we could have this discussion in the "movies" discussion). :-D
A chat topic does kinda mean random, so, I think we're completely justified in talking about it here! ;)
We're justified. ;)Gabriella, if you ever see LOTR EE for sale, don't hesitate, buy it, especially of it's a good deal. It's REALLY hard to get nowadays. They do at least sometimes have the blurays on Amazon, but it's like $60.
Guys, don't kill me...but I've only seen the theatrical version of FOTR and Hobbit 1...and I'm only on the second chapter of the Hobbit. MUST. READ. MORE. MUST. WATCH. MORE.@Stargazer: you've dreamt of meeting me! Aww, that's so sweet! I don't know if I've dreamt of any of you. Maybe. I've sure thought about it a lot.
I won't kill you. ;). EE isn't easy to get ahold of. We borrowed it first, and I bought it (with much difficulty) on Prime day. You really do need to finish the books...but I can't really say anything because it took me about a year and my mom making me read...at least until I got to The Two Towers.
Okay, good. I started reading TH with my brother, but it's slightly over his head (though he was still enjoying it). It takes longer to read out loud.

Also, there's a scoring system over on the Jorum, and I wanted to be the first Dragon Rider. Which I succeeded in doing.
