When I was about 8-10 years old, about 1967, I read a book about a family that had about 5 daughters and I believe their names were based on continents, or countries. I feel like there was a Asia and an Australia. Now it's driving me crazy. I'm waiting to see if my sister remembers.

Is it possible that it was an old book, even back when you first read it? The daughters in Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch are named for the continents.
