I feel the same way! I think my problem is the narrator's voice, it's very monotonous I guess? So my mind has a hard time listening to what she says :(

I hope it'll get better because I had high hopes but this is one of those books that's probably best as an ebook/physical.

Good luck, hopefully it was just this book not the narrator. I remember constantly checking how far I was while reading this. Hours go by and I’d be just +5% lol. Glad u survived
Our story begins in 1902, at The Brookhants School for Girls. Flo and Clara, two impressionable students, are obsessed with each other and with a daring young writer named Mary MacLane, the author of a scandalous bestselling memoir.
