Beyond what i put in the heading, i remember the bear passing another drunk toy character along his journey. I remember the cover of the book having a golden floral like design, in which the little toy characters were part of. In the middle was a white oval with the book title, if i remember correctly. Thanks to all for any help!

Thank you Kris, I would classify it as a fantasy novel. The story line was adventurous, and was slightly dark at points. I remember the protagonist traveling through, among other places, strange cities where there were toy characters (i.e. talking toys who inhabited the city and performed adult tasks in their daily life). I didn't get but a few chapters into the novel, and this was years ago. Thank you for your time.

SBC, I did check out your recommendations. Unfortunately I didn't find the one I'm after. If I remember right, I found the book in the "Sci Fi/Fantasy" adult section from a Barnes & Noble.
