I read this book a few years ago and i absolute adored it. It was orignally written in German, I am from Austria so I read the original version. It is the first installment in the Precious Stone trilogy, so it would also work in this catagory. I can really recommend this book. It is great.

I also enjoyed this time travel book a lot. I read it in English. They have made a movie in German but I don't believe it has English subtitles.
I also would highly recommend this book.
