I was planning to read that last year, as I know I have a copy of it. Somewhere. But I have looked all over and cannot find it. Oh, well, surely it will turn up eventually. It's not like I have a pet who might have eaten it or something.

I ended up reading Midnight at the Barclay Hotel, which is a middle grade murder mystery. It's a great intro to the world of detective fiction, and the setting is inspired by the Stanley Hotel, so you know there will be ghosts.
When I picked up Night Over the Solomons by Louis L'Amour, I was thinking it would be a quick read and fulfill the Prolific Author prompt for GenreLand. About halfway through it dawned on me that this had Night in the title.
