Niya | 36 comments I am hoping to read 24 books in the next year. This time I decided to be a bit more specific than only having a total number I'd like to reach, so I created a number of prompts to remind me of what types of books I'm hoping to read. I'll list those below for anyone who may be interested. You may notice that there are fewer prompts then books and this is just because I like to have a bit of freedom when choosing my books and want to be able to read multiple books related to the same prompt.

• Goodreads winner for 2020
• 2021 Reading Challenge book club BoTM
• Non-Goodreads book club BoTM
• New release for 2021
• Book that has been adapted into a movie
• Debut novel
• Local author (for me this means Scottish)
• Book written by a Nobel Prize winner
• Book from an author I love
• Book from a famous author I haven't read before
• Book from a Bulgarian author (as I am originally from Bulgaria)
• Book written in the 18th century
• Genre I don't usually read
• Autobiography/ memoir
• Biography
• Poetry
• Non-fiction
• Historical Fiction
• Classical must read
• Book centred around race

Niya | 36 comments 1. Find Me ⭐⭐⭐

This is the sequel to Call Me By Your Name. For me it was a disappointing read especially because there was so much potential, but I am glad to have read it to get the closure I wanted.

Niya | 36 comments 2. Me Talk Pretty One Day ⭐⭐⭐

I typically enjoy memoirs quite a bit and I was looking forward to reading something by David Sedaris as I hadn't read any of his books but had heard positive reviews about them. Unfortunately, he was not my cup of tea. While I appreciated some of his stories, most of them did not appeal to me and I did not seem to enjoy his sense of humour particularly much but I guess that's just personal taste. I know many people love what he puts out.
