Book title might begin with "Star", A father, son and daughter live in a house that floats in space like a small planet. Daughters name is for sure Molly. I think the father goes missing and then their house is invaded? The children flee and meet pirates, leaders name is Jack. His crew has a giant crab and a woman with lizard-like anatomy? (There are more people I cannot remember). The pirates agree to help the kids, Jack and his crew are from some possibly English or London area and were taken to some laboratory to be studied, they escaped. Jack is from Venus and was taken when he was a child as the only surviver to a disease that turned his people into trees. They do eventually find their father, mother too who they thought had abandoned them. The villains are some spiders trying to take over the universe? Jack and Molly fall in love over the course of the story and the mother is some super old being who lived a long time.

Kasey, is this book for kids or teens? I guessed middle grade.
I added a few details to the header/topic title. You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

Yes! Thank you! I only remembered the book as "Start" so I later assumed it was in the title. I have been trying to find this out for forever!
