SOLVED. YA Sci-Fi + Fantasy. Girl travels across strange/ over-run lands (in the air with some type of vehicle/ animal) to a city. Not sure of exact aim, I just know she travels to a city that's kind of closed off. Read around 2012-2013.

Can't distinctly remember the plot, I just remember vague details like it was a young girl travelling towards a city and the land she is travelling across is weird; it's all based very very far in the future. The city that she travels to has the "meal in the pill" and I remember one part in the book there was an older female that the protagonist meets who takes her to dinner and the older female selects vanilla milkshake flavour and hamburger or something very similar to that. The pills came out of tubes that were connected to the wall or something. The protagonist had bangs. The cover was white and with a vague circle in the middle with the main character in the middle and two other animals (not normal ones, they're like part of the world and they're funny-shaped/funny-looking). I remember the way she travelled was either on a flying machine like a blimp or something / she travels on an orca looking animal that can fly in the sky (I can't remember which but that's all I know). I read the book around 2012/2013. This is all I can remember but I'll try to add more details if I can remember more. I read this as a kid but I'm absolutely desperate to find it. Thank you and sorry for the vagueness!! BTW Language was in English, pretty sure it was written by an English speaking author (it wasn't translated)

Just suddenly remembered the word "wanda" and then "wandla", I searched it up and found "The search for Wondla"
