The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

Wisp (sentinelwisp) | 5 comments In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose above the great mountainous island of Tremalking. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time.

Makeit fair up to our means

Pieter (madfox11) | 14 comments So, how do we count web novels? I absolutely love Chrysalis (https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/225...) but I don't think it has an e-book and it it is not on Goodreads, but I read all 756 chapters last month (that was a huge piece of my free time) ;)

Rebekah Donnell (countrygalbookworm) | 4 comments @Pieter I am pretty sure you can add books that are not listed on Goodreads. At least you used-ta-could (American Redneck slang, lol). I have added books before.

Devan | 29 comments @pieter looks added to me. It’s easier to find in goodreads if you search by the author’s name RinoZ.

Thanks. Does leave the question up to debate on how many books that actually is, those 756 chapters ;) (And is still growing, so technically I am still reading it ;) )

Gregory Bradburn | 12 comments I can't stand the Wheel of Time series...

message 13: by Hud (new)

Hud Russo | 25 comments books were ok author ripped everyone off basically quitting and years later his son cobbling together a hafe ass ending. why I tend to not buy series unless finished. just cost way to much for the string along. Like the Harry Dresden books. years between books why bother. lots of really good prolific writers out there.

That's not what happened with Wheel of Time at all.

If you're talking about the Wheel of Time, Robert Jordan didn't quit, he DIED (it was some sickness, cancer I think. Point is he knew it was coming). His wife then hired Brandon Sanderson to piece together an ending based off of the information and scenes he put together before he died, since he knew he didn't have the time to finish it himself.

Yep. Sanderson actually met with Jordan in his deathbed and heard that ending from the author.

Roger | 18 comments Right, that's what happened with Dune not Wheel of Time
