1. The Trouble with Peace - Amazing audiobook, Joe Abercrombie's writing and Steven Pacey's narration were a brilliant match!
2. West of West - by Angus Watson. Had such fun with this trilogy, again the audiobook versions were really excellent.
3. Bloodsounder's Arc - Loved this military fantasy trilogy by Jeff Salyards, each book got better and better as the trilogy went along.
Honorable mentions:
1. Shadow of a Dead God - by indie author Patrick Samphire - this was a great laugh, think Harry Dresden crossed with Amra Thetys, but still all its own thing.
2. Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow - By Jessica Townsend. My favourite middle grade book in 2020.
3. Sword and Pen - by the late Rachel Caine. The Great Library Series is easily one of my favourite YA series and this final instalment was excellent!
Hope all have a brighter 2021 - full of good things and great reads :-)

The Diviners
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
and... maybe Secrets of Bennett Hall as I really enjoyed its fast pace.
Honourable Mentions:
Blue Lily, Lily Blue
The Wise Man's Fear

Avatar: The Rise of Kyoshi - I highly recommend the Kyoshi novels if you're an Avatar fan.
Black Leopard, Red Wolf - simply fantastic and breathtaking
The Burning God - perfect ending to a great trilogy
Honorable mention:
Deeplight - a surprise YA favorite
The Gurkha and the Lord of Tuesday - highly enjoyable and witty
