Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in the group celebrating tomorrow. My mom is here for a visit and we are going out for brunch at an amazing crepe place to celebrate. I haven't been to this restaurant for a year and a half due to covid and everything on their menu is off my new diet, so it will be a splurge for me. I'm really looking forward to it. :)

I hate "Help", but I may have found a workaround. Other users are having the same problem.

So the workaround works. If you are unable to post because there is any HTML in your message, first post - "test" and save. Then edit your post and add your intended message with all the HTML in it. For some crazy reason, it works.

I wonder how long it will take Goodreads to fix this. I started having the problem first thing this morning. It's now about 4 hours later.

Hi guys, my uncle died last saturday after a 4 year battle with cancer. My mums health has deteriorated a lot over the past week. Hopefully she'll recover her strength but I need to to take a little time out to look after her right now so I you might not hear from as much but I will be back.

I moved onto my boat on Monday and have spent this week unpacking, buying new stuff, and getting settled in. It feels so nice to have my own home once again. I knew at the time not having my own home for the past few months was hard but now Ihave one I realise even more how much that impqqcted my mental health. Such a relief. Tomorrow I begin my 4 day journey of taking my boat back to where my friends are moored. I think there might be a need for wet weather gear according to the forecast but it will be fun nonetheless.
