I have a weird question and hope you can help... I joined the 2022 group a couple days ago and just today, misinterpreted the 'add books' to the prompt about a book starting with 'F' ...
... and I added all of my TO-READ books, only a couple of which start with 'F'
(so embarrassed) ... can't figure out how to remove them from your list -- they're all at the end (pages 4 and 5) so they're pretty obvious.
Can you advise?
Thanks!
Martha

Hi Martha, I just looked at our List for that prompt and I don't see your additions anywhere..... and I only see 4 total pages of books, not 5

The books I voted for in all the categories, I added them to my 'To-Read' list... I assume that counts toward the 52 Challenge as I finish them and convert them to 'Read'
Cheers,

I started to read books from the given lists for the challenge. I have a question: I'm reading books in Turkish. Shall I add Turkish translated books to the lists or original ones are enough?
Thanks.

Up to you! It's your challenge and you can read and list any books that you want. We love seeing different versions and translations.

I don't know how it looks on the app, but on the website at the very top of our main page right under our intro paragraph there is an "edit membership" button

1. One Book For Each Prompt
The original challenge is 52 books in 52 weeks. Since there are 52 different categories, that means one book for each prompt. (Sounds simple, I know, but I get a lot of questions about this!)
But what if I can’t read 52 books in a year?
Not everyone reads fifty-two books in a year, and that’s okay too! The goal is to challenge yourself and mix things up, but that doesn’t mean stressing yourself out. What if you can only read ten books a year, but still want to participate in the challenge? No problem! Tick off as many categories as you can or double them up if you want. (Remember, your challenge, your rules!)
2. Mix It Up!
As tempting as it may be to slot your regular reading into every category, use this as an opportunity to branch out a little. Each challenge includes a diverse range of prompts for a reason — to help us break out of our reading comfort zones. Pick a book or author that you’ve never read before. Or, try an unfamiliar genre! Who knows, you may even find a new favourite!
3. Get Creative!
This isn’t so much a rule as a helpful hint. Due to our natural reading preferences some of the categories will be more difficult to complete than others — but just have fun with it! Get creative and interpret the category in a new way. (Check out our Challenge Guide for more tips on this!) Try to find books that not only fit that category but that you’ll also enjoy reading. If YOU think a book fits a certain prompt, then it does!
4. Be Polite
It's OK to disagree, but have respect for other people.
5. Family Friendly
This is a group for all ages, please keep it clean and friendly. Swearing, sexual innuendos, vulgarity or any other inappropriate comments will not be tolerated.
6. Book Links
When discussing a book, please make sure you include the book link or book cover link. This can be done by clicking on the ' add book / author' link above the comment box.
7. Spoilers
If you are going to publish spoilers please put them behind a cut, you can do this by doing the following:
<?spoiler?> enter the spoiler text here <?/spoiler?>
(without the ? between the < >, you need to remove them for it to work)
8. Authors / Bloggers
Promotion of books / blogs will not be permitted. This group is not for self promotion of books / blogs that you are in any way connected to, either by writing, cover design, marketing, etc. Any attempt to do so will result in removal from the group.
9. No Spam
Pretty clear, no spam. Anything not related to books or reading or our members will be removed.
