Star Ruby vs. LBRP

I'm fairly new to Crowley's rituals, so the symbolism in the Star Ruby doesn't really click with me. I've performed the LBRP but it took me a while to get comfortable with the Qabalistic symbols used, and the more I study the more meaning this ritual gains. Any thoughts on these?
