I enjoyed AmaraA
A
I also have read a lot of Jack Ketchum. I highly recommend Ladies' Night. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth is. Also The Troop by Nick Cutter. And if you like your splatterpunk with a bit of humor Infected by Scott Sigler. This is a series and i really enjoyed it. I admit. I go through splatterpunk phases. I'm a weirdo.

Starting Eden by Lebbon.. I'm having such a hard time picking a read, sheesh... it has some mixed reviews but I love this type of story.

Eden by Tim Lebbon
From the bestselling author of The Silence comes a brand-new supernatural eco thriller. In large areas of the planet, nature is no longer humanity's friend...

About halfway through Sleeping Beauties and really liking it. It's been on my tbr for a few years but because it's a real doorstopper (700 pgs!) I kept putting off reading it. That's a shame because it reads very fast and has an interesting bit of feminism to it, especially being written by two men.
