PEOPLE I HAVE A QUESTION. So I have an edelwiss account, but I've only used NetGalley because I find it more user friendly. BUT, I shut down my blog and I know that books are pretty much impossible to get on NetGalley without one so I was wondering if that's something they take into consideration on edelwiss?

having a blog probably helps, but i don't know. personally, i don't have a blog, but just being consistent and posting reviews is probably good enough. at least for netgalley. edelweiss seems to be much more selective when it comes to approvals

Oh yes, Edelweiss is just, ugh. And I have a blog (albeit not a very popular one) and I’ve been rejected twice, so just go for it, I think.

Only one of my edelweiss request was granted and i can't even access it!! SMH

While netgally has given me 6 arcs...haven't started any(I'm such a loser)
i have 6 rejections so far. Yup, life is great!

is it normal on netgalley to reciece copies from books that already have been published. i accidentaly requested books that are already published for a while and they sent me the books ?? do they want me to just revieuw them or aah.

i have loads of requests that haven't been approved or rejected but have been published already so we're in the same boat sis

Ooo that does happen. They have free books on netgalley, altho im not sure if you have to read and review it.

At this point, Netgalley is better when you actually want to get ~accepted~ but in terms of more books? Edelweiss is where it's at.
